From the mid 80's and throughout the 90's the Brothers, although no longer playing together professionally, still continued to play their folk music informally at parties and for their own enjoyment.

However in 1998 Wallace and Johnny were invited to start up a regular folk night in East Kilbride.
(The Brothers were born and raised in Glasgow but now live in the new town of East Kilbride in South Lanarkshire).
They agreed - it was an immediate success - and still going strong.

Other gigs followed and over the last few years the Cameron Brothers have steadily built up a sizeable following in their area.

Apart from a two week tour of Moscow in Russia, a recent performance on Broadway New York City and regular trips to the Dunoon area of Argyll, they mainly play around the Greater Glasgow / South Lanarkshire area.

Following the release of their first album, they hope to promote their music to a wider audience and are planning to record a second album scheduled for release around spring of 2006.
